About
Marissa Mary Maroni
Marissa Maroni graduated from Rhode Island College in 2013 with a double major in both Music and Musical Theater. During her time there, she did a summer intensive at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, England. Post college, she took a choral and conducting class from the University of Delaware through their summer intensive in France. She went on to receive her K-12 Music education certificate and worked as an elementary music teacher for 6 years. Maroni has been a music director for St. Ann's Church, St. Matthews Church and is currently music director, organist and vocalist at St. Thomas More in Narragansett, RI. Based in North Kingstown, RI, she has performed professionally at Ocean State Theater Company and does music gigs all around Rhode Island. Of course, her most important job is being a mom to her son Finn.

​Service Inside Funeral Home
If you would like to add music to a funeral home service, I can play piano and sing the songs of your choosing. If the funeral home does not have a piano available, I recommend a guitarist coming with me. Guitarist fee (TBD).​

Wakes
Background music or a special song request can be done at a wake. If you are having a funeral at a church but really wanted a secular song performed in honor of the deceased, the wake is an appropriate time for that to be done.
